Estate Grown Mourvèdre and Grenache with David Girard Vineyards Syrah. This Rhône blend is 65% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache, and 15% Syrah. The Mourvèdre provides exceptional structure, the Grenache lifted aromas, and the Syrah provides depth and color. Barrel aged for 22 months in 40% new French oak. Unfined and Unfiltered. Medium Ruby in color. On the nose, this wine has aromas of cherry cola, peppermint, cedar, and hints of rose. The palate has a lively body, juicy tannins, and delicate flavors such as cranberry, cedar, and baking spices.
